A Quick Guide to Running Your First RoundTable

Welcome to RoundTable - where creators and fans meet face-to-face, not just in the comments section. Whether you're a musician, comedian, author, or anyone with a passionate community, this is your cheat sheet for launching unforgettable RoundTables your fans will rave about (and yes, pay you for).

RoundTable events are live, interactive video sessions with up to 20 of your most dedicated fans joining you on camera. It's your own private hangout, where everyone gets to chat, ask questions, and be part of the action.

And the best part? No platform fees during this launch period, and creators get paid within 72 hours of each event - let's go!

How It Works (Spoiler: It's Fast)

  • Create Your Event: Pick your ticket numbers, set your price, schedule the date, choose your vibe. It takes no more than 3 minutes.
  • Promote and Sell Tickets: Share your link with followers - start with a free event or go straight to paid.
  • Go live: Connect face-to-face and make every moment personal. Use the RoundTable button to engage everyone, and the Perform button to take control when you want the spotlight.

What Creators Are Doing

It doesn't matter what you do - it's about having an engaged fanbase who want to connect directly with you. RoundTable's can be quick meet and greets with zero prep, or well researched Masterclasses - it's up to you and what you think your fans want.

But if you're looking for inspiration, here's what we've seen from creators already on RoundTable:

  • Musicians: Intimate live sets with song requests and Q&A.
  • Artists: Masterclass sessions breaking down technique.
  • Authors: Reading unreleased chapters and sharing insights into their creative process.
  • Comedians: Interactive sets and roasting fans (with love).

Commonly Asked Questions

What should I charge?
Kick things off with a free RoundTable to build excitement, then try paid events as demand grows. Play up the VIP factor - remind fans there are only 20 camera-on spots! Stay flexible and adjust your pricing based on what your fans are telling you.

When should I run it?
Use your audience insights to pick the best times—look at where your fans are based. Don't be afraid to experiment with different days and times, and stay flexible as your community grows and changes.

How should I promote my event?
Maximise ticket sales by hyping up the limited VIP spots and sharing your event page across your socials. Involve your fans in the build-up - ask what they want covered, run polls on pricing, and let them help shape the event. The more you include your fans, the more likely they are to want to buy a ticket.

When Will I Get Paid?
You'll receive your payout within 72 hours after your RoundTable event wraps up. This brief window allows us to confirm the event took place and that there haven't been any refund requests.

How Much Does RoundTable Charge?
Right now, during our beta launch, RoundTable is completely free - no platform fees, no hidden costs. Once we move out of beta, we'll introduce a small percentage fee on event sales. But for now, you keep 100% of your ticket revenue → so take advantage and host as many RoundTable events as you can while it's free!
